Munster Squash Division 1 Winners Celtic Waterford

Congratulations to Celtic Squash Club – Division 1 winners 2025. Celtic were looking comfortable at the top until the last fixture when Thurles Squash-Club came out of the blue and had a great result at home to Sundays Well and gathered 86 points.

Celtic had to win on the night to be clear winners but were beaten in Waterford by Cork club HighfieldSquash Cork . With the fixture at 2 matches all it came down to the last match, string #2 with Martin Joseph McDonnell and Jamie Walker having a super battle with Jamie having 3 match balls only for Martin to win the match 3-2.

That placed Celtic on top even on points with Thurles on 86 points. After a countback on head to head Celtic retained the Division 1 cup.
